Cazenovia Community Fitness strives to offer a comprehensive program of fitness for all levels and ages. We focus on encouragement and motivation through learning each client’s goals and restrictions. We like to laugh while working. We believe in the power of music to push through plateaus and the positive energy of fitness friends working hard together. We offer fitness styles for every person, delivered by reputable instructors who make each client a priority. We consider CCF our “Positivity Zone” and strive to inspire a balanced approach to the “why” behind our fitness goals.

Owners: Marla Velky-Reger & Meghan Kelly

Marla and Meg have been friends for well over a decade – and one of their many common bonds has always been their passion for fitness. For years they talked about starting a fitness studio together, so it is with much excitement Cazenovia Community Fitness was born in 2016.

Cory Scholefield

Cory first began teaching fitness in 1983 in the age of high impact aerobics, leotards, tights and leg warmers. This is where she first learned how to “build” a fitness class and choreograph routines to music. Over the years, Cory was involved in fitness, as either an instructor or a participant and group classes where always her first choice. In 2009 Cory discovered Zumba® Fitness and decided to become an instructor. For the past 9 years she has furthered her fitness education, becoming a Certified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. 

Pam McFarland - About

Pam McFarland

Dr. Pam McFarland, a licensed physical therapist with over 35 years of experience, has earned her Pilates mat certification from the USA-based Pilates Associates Teacher Training Institute program. She has additional training with the Australiam Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute.

Dr. Pam offers a modified approach to classical Pilates mat exercises, which will promote health and wellness for class participants. 

Classes are limited to ten participants to encourage correct performance of the exercises. Private and semi-private sessions are offered by appointment. 

stacy robertson - About

Stacey Robertson

Stacey started her spinning journey almost 5 years ago when she took a spin for beginners class at her local gym and was instantly hooked. She loved the cardio and strength workout and of course the music! She had been thinking about getting certified and when she relocated to Caz, she finally decided to go for it. Stacey teaches early mornings at 5:15 and loves the energy of those rides! She loves planning her classes out and the rides will change a lot as will the music. Stacey thinks CCF is an amazing gym and is so thankful and grateful for the opportunity!

Penni Croot

I have been active in ballet as a professional dancer and a teacher for a long time. My professional training, experience and teacher certification are from the National Ballet of Canada. I teach a range of ages and ability levels in my Adult Ballet classes. Several of my students studied ballet as kids and wanted to get back into it. Some always wanted to take ballet, but were never able to do it. I tailor the class to the students present and there is no pressure to be the best. We work on core strength, balance, grace and posture as well as toning the entire body. No pointe shoes – EVER!

I have been a Group X instructor for 12 years, celebrating 10 years as a Zumba instructor. Specializing in Senior group classes, Silver & Fit and Silver Sneakers. I love bringing my passion of dance to my Zumba classes.

Kara Judd is an AFAA Certified Fitness Instructor.
She specializes in HIIT, Strength Training, and Functional Fitness.
Kara teaches HIIT strength on Monday evenings at CCF.
Kara is committed to helping her clients reach their fitness goals and make it life long!
